Luxemburg is back !

Away from the contest in 2009, Luxemburg is back with a new talented chef : Jan Schneidewind who just won the national selection.

The Luxemburg national Bocuse d’Or selection took place on October 4th in Diekirch.

 

Chaired by Chef Léa Linster (Bocuse d‘Or Lauréate 1989), the jury chose Jan Schneidewind as the winner 2011. If chosen by the Continental Organisation Comitee, Chef Jan Schneidewind will take his chance to the European selection of the Bocuse d’Or held in in Bruxelles in 2012.

A beautiful victory for this 45 -years -old chef: with passion, he claims his preferences for classical and traditional cuisine.

Jan Schneidewind has been in the profession for 20 years, but never participated in a Bocuse d’Or contest before: his experience and his love for natural products had done the difference with the other candidates during the national selection.
